First a short history lesson:
What is the word
‘kindergarten’? It is a German word invented in the 18th century meaning ‘Garden of
Children’, a place where children can play with other kids of all ages, and
experience growth, like a garden requires care. Europe invented kindergarten,
then the idea spread to Canada, U.S and then the rest of the world over many
centuries. So whether you visit a traditional Chinese kindergarten, or other so
called ‘international’ kindergarten, you are actually seeing different Chinese
versions of a European idea.
We
created this school using all the knowledge and resources of Great Man, which
oversees close to 300 kindergarten across China. We added the best of what we
have to offer, the first truly international, English immersion,
foreign-managed Great Man, the start of a new kind of Great Man.
We nourish the children with loving care and a curriculum that builds them from
the inside out.
