我的名字叫Graham——这个名字源于古英语Grayhame，意为雾中的勇士。正如中文古语所说，“人如其名”，我以勇士般非凡的勇气与进取之心，穿越三道薄雾来到这里。
第一层薄雾位于我出生和生活的地方——英国的约克郡。我从这里启程，到伦敦求学，在英国皇家学院完成本科学业，并通过艺术、设计等多学科学术研究进修为高级硕士。
因时年久远
在伦敦意犹未尽的学术生涯告一段落，我又进入第二层迷雾，受邀到美国的大学和国家公共广播电台工作。在此期间，我始终不曾放弃学术科研且最终取得了我的终极目标——美术硕士学位，凭借精湛的科研素养与学术能力，我成为Phi Kappa Phi学术会的一员；我曾担任过印第安纳大学的戏剧主任和奥斯汀·皮伊州立大学的教授，面对不同的教育角色，我致力推动学识技能与教育方法、理念的深度融合，以及优质教育资源的共建共享，以自己独特的教学领悟，令我的课堂与管理都达到一种审美境界。
基于长期积累的深厚教育与管理经验，在一个特别的契机，我以主创者的身份投入创建了美国高中的第一个国际课程项目——该项目仅申请/审批一年，就被日耳曼敦高中接受并推进，我还参与主持了他们的广播和电视节目，帮助学生的学习成果透过项目而“被看见”，为培养学生应对未来世界、面向挑战的能力而努力。在日耳曼敦高中的工作获得圆满成就，我再次远赴高地学院担任戏剧教授，并任职相当长的一段时间。
第三层迷雾，是我应迪士尼先生及华特迪士尼公司的邀请加入迪士尼亚洲团队。按照最初安排，我将于一年内分别在亚洲多个城市工作：在上海停留3个月后取道香港，再到曼谷，最后在北京工作3个月。然而，这个计划在我飞到北京后被完全推翻，我在北京基地整整呆了一年，并因这里中国特色尤其鲜明的文化特质与人文氛围，而深深爱上了这个国家。
之后两年，我再度被转调到上海迪士尼主题公园进行建园工作。在迪士尼工作的两年，是一份意义深刻的回忆，我感到十分享受。直到上海迪士尼主题公园成功开幕，我决定回到美国。然而，此时我发觉已经无法割舍对中国的感情，这片土地俘获了我的智慧与感情，同时也塑造了我。我答应了一份全新邀请，同意在上海参与开设一所面向有国际教育需求家庭的语言学校。我在这所学校工作了两年，主持并完成了学校的建立及开拓工作，如养育孩子般为它注入接轨英美现行管理/教学标准的支持。一切都如此完美…然而令人始料不及的是，出现了新冠疫情。
离开被疫情蹂躏的上海海岸，我被邀请到中国青岛某高中，担任外教主管。到了学校后，我和同事们致力于帮助十年级和十一年级的学生筹备雅思考试并辅导他们成功留学。在此期间，我深入研究了中国启蒙至高中阶段少儿/青年的英语语言教育进程和学习特点，针对性地设计完整而富有创新的教育思路，帮助众多老师创新教学模式，从而引领学生获得积累和提升。我很幸运能培育如此多优秀的学生，真心为他们的成功欢呼庆贺。
一次偶然的机会，我与香港伟才教育相遇，并因此接触了富有活力的大连伟才国际幼儿园。在与幼儿园的管理者、一线教师深度交谈与理念碰撞后，我非常欣赏这所学校对于国际教育的认识和对未来教育趋势的把控力，也切实把握了幼儿园的教育核心与管理模式。基于国际教育多维度的共通性，我意识到我的很多成功的教育与管理经验，可以真切地让伟才国际幼儿园的老师和孩子们受益。因此我听从内心使命的召唤，来到了这座可爱的城市。
这是一个优美静谧的小城，人们友好开朗，生活环境如此舒适自然。与伟才的孩子初次见面，他们的活泼可爱就令我深深折服，不由自主地倾心。接下来的很长一段时间，我将为伟才国际幼儿园的孩子们和老师的成长助力，并期待孩子在不断生长的伟才汲取更加充足的能量，羽翼丰满地投入到广阔世界中。

My name is Graham - from the old English Grayhame, meaning Warrior from the mist, and I have travelled here from the mists of three places. The first mist is where I was born and grew up, in Yorkshire in England. From here I traveled to London where I did my undergraduate and became a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Great Britain.And through Art, design and other multidisciplinary academic research for advanced master's degree.
After completing this, I was invited to travel into the second mist, the United States where I worked in universities and National Public Radio. During this time I completed my terminal degree - A Master of Fine Arts - and became a member of the Academic Fraternity of Phi Kappa Phi.After being the Director of theatre at Indiana University and a professor at Austin Peay State University,Facing different educational roles, I am committed to promoting the deep integration of knowledge and skills with educational methods and concepts, as well as the co-construction and sharing of high-quality educational resources. With my unique teaching understanding, my classroom and management can achieve a kind of aesthetic state.Based on the long-term accumulation of profound education and management experience, at a special opportunity . I decided to go participate in creating a the first International Baccalaureate program at an American High School - which was accepted and approved at Germantown High School after only one year of application. At Germantown I also ran their radio and TV program.Finishing at Germantown saw me move to Highland College as their Theatre Professor.
And then Mister Disney in the form of his company, The Walt Disney Company came calling and asked if I wanted to go work on their Asian team. According to the original arrangement, I would work in different cities in Asia within one year., but originally I agreed to work the year, three months in Shanghai, then Hong Kong, then Bangkok and finally three month’s in Beijing. This plan however was completely thrown over during my flight, which saw me fly into Beijing to be based the whole year their.I fell in love with this country because of its distinctive cultural characteristics and cultural atmosphere.
I enjoyed working on all things Disney for two years before being re-posted to Shanghai, where, after the opening of the Theme Park, I decided to go back to America. However, at this time, I found that I could not give up my feelings for China. This land captured my emotion, and also shaped me.However, the fickle finger of fate wasn’t done with me yet, and a group of Chinese work acquaintances asked if I would be interested opening up a new language school with them as Principal and Head Teacher. I worked at Yuren for two years, covering their expansion into new school premises... everything looked set... and then along came Covid.
Fleeing the ravaged shores of Shanghai, I was invited to work in the Number One High School in Goa-mi in Qingdao, as Head of the foreign teachers department. It was only after arriving I found there were only two of us, working with tenth and eleventh grade students on their IELTS examinations. The idea was to help them go study abroad either as a senior in high school or freshman in college. I was lucky enough to have great students and to celebrate their successes.
Once by chance, I came into contact with Great Man International Kindergarten.After a long understanding, based on the commonality of education, I think my successful experience in education can help the teachers and children of Great Man International Kindergarten.That's why I'm here.
It is a very beautiful and quiet small town with friendly and cheerful people. The living environment is so natural, the children in the kindergarten are lively and lovely, it is involuntary like.In the next long time, I will help for the growth of the children and teachers of Great Man International Kindergarten, and expect the children to absorb more sufficient energy from the growing Great Man, and plunge into the vast world.
